About Me
I am a junior at Watkinson School and in my first year of The Global Studies Dual Diploma Program. Through this program, students learn about global and local issues impacting humanity. From attending events on political matters at the Bushnell Theater in Hartford to seeing documentaries about immigration at local theaters to having class conversations that challenge our thinking, this program is opening my eyes to a variety of new issues.
In my spare time I love doing volunteer work, traveling (especially service trips), scuba diving, baking, and sewing. My dream is to become a nurse. After my sophomore year I earned my Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) license which solidified my desire to continue on the pathway to becoming a nurse. I’m especially interested in working as a travel nurse so I can provide medical care to those for whom it is unavailable.
