About Me

I am a senior at Watkinson School and in my second year of the Global Studies Dual Diploma Program. Through this program, students learn about global and local issues impacting humanity. From attending events on political matters at the Bushnell Theater in Hartford to seeing documentaries about immigration at local theaters, or having class conversations that challenge our thinking, this program is opening my eyes to a variety of new issues.

In my spare time, I love doing volunteer work, traveling (especially service trips), scuba diving and swimming, baking, and sewing. My dream is to become a nurse. After my sophomore year, I earned my Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) license, which solidified my desire to continue on the pathway to becoming a nurse. Additionally, I volunteered at Hartford Hospital for two consecutive summers, providing me with more insight into working in a hospital. I’m especially interested in working as a travel nurse so I can provide medical care to those for whom it is unavailable.
